£29,500 + overtime + benefits + progression
46 hour working week - Monday–Thursday 06:00 – 18:00 (4-day working week!)

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing company looking for a Factory Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced production environment. You'll be working with cast metal parts, using various tools and machinery to prepare products for the next stage of production.
Duties will include:
- Fettling and grinding of metal castings using power tools
- Manual handling – moving boxes and materials
- Shot blasting (machine operation)
- Etching parts using specialist hand tools
- Operating a band saw when required
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and workspaces
- Recording production data on a touchscreen system
- Completing paperwork to track tasks completed
You will have:
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- A good level of physical fitness
- Experience using hand tools
- Access to your own transport due to location
- A solid CV demonstrating reliability
