Production Operative
Temp-to-Perm | £12.21 – £13.00 per hour (DOE)
Location: Rochester, Kent (ME2)
A unique and growing business in Kent’s manufacturing sector is expanding and looking for reliable individuals to join their production team. We have several Production Operator roles available across different departments and shift patterns.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where no two days are the same. Whether you're bringing experience or looking to step into a production environment for the first time, we want to hear from you.
Available Shifts:
- Days (Mon–Fri): 9am–5pm
- Compressed Days (Mon–Thurs): 6am–6pm
- Nights (Mon–Thurs): 6pm–6am
The Role of Production Operator:
- Operate and monitor production machinery to meet daily output targets
- Complete regular quality checks and record accurate documentation
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in all production areas
- Work closely with supervisors and the wider production team to meet deadlines and support continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- A reliable approach to work – strong attendance and timekeeping are essential
- Previous experience in food or pharmaceutical production is an advantage, but not essential
- Willingness to learn and work in a high-care, regulated production environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Comfortable with physical work including standing for long periods and some lifting
- Team player who can also work independently when required
