Workshop Assistant - Gillingham
12.77 per hour
Monday to Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm
We're looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a busy and friendly manufacturing team in Gillingham.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who's confident using hand tools, can follow assembly instructions, and enjoys practical work.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working with hand tools to measure, drill, cut, and assemble materials
- Following written and verbal instructions to complete assembly tasks
- Supporting the team to keep the workshop running smoothly and safely
- Using workshop equipment to produce high-quality work
- Checking your work meets quality and safety standards
What We're Looking For:
- Some experience in a workshop or similar environment
- Confident using hand tools
- Able to read and follow basic assembly instructions or drawings
- Good attention to detail
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
