Job Title: Commercial Property Solicitor

About the Role
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their busy Commercial Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE to work on a wide range of commercial property matters for small and medium-sized businesses, while developing your career in a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Buying and selling freehold and leasehold business premises
- Advising landlords and tenants on new leases and lease renewals (including Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 matters)
- Drafting and managing lease documentation such as licences to assign, sublet, and alter
- Acting on acquisitions and sales of commercial investment properties
- Advising on commercial property finance and auction transactions
- Managing own caseload and supervising junior colleagues where appropriate
- Ensuring compliance with firm procedures, risk management, and file management protocols
- Working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' PQE in commercial property law
- Some experience in residential conveyancing desirable
- Ability to manage own caseload effectively
- Strong IT skills and competent in case management systems
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Commercially aware, proactive, and a team player
