The Role
This is a full-time, office-based position providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the firm's busy residential conveyancing department. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of property transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audio and copy typing of legal correspondence, forms (Oyez), and quotations
- Handling incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- General administrative duties such as photocopying, data entry, and file maintenance
- Managing diaries, arranging client appointments, and updating case management systems
- Supporting colleagues with secretarial cover and general team collaboration
- Maintaining client confidentiality and high professional standards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrable experience in a Conveyancing Legal Secretary role
- Fast, accurate typing and solid MS Word skills
- Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage a varied workload
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-focused approach
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure
