Mechanical Engineering Team Leader

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development of mechanical design plans, schemes, and technical packs.
  • Review, approve, and mentor on designs, calculations, and reports.
  • Chair design reviews with both internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Drive team performance and professional development, including appraisals and career planning.
  • Ensure all engineering outputs meet quality, compliance, and governance standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
  •  A proven track record of product development from concept through to manufacture.
  •  Strong team leadership and/or project management experience.
  •  Bonus skills: CAD (CREO preferred), TeamCenter, JIRA, DOORs; experience in composites, mechatronics, optical displays, additive manufacturing, or test & measurement equipment.
