Job Title: Lead Maintenance Engineer

Salary: 49,000 per annum

Are you a skilled and experienced engineer ready for a leadership challenge? We're seeking a Lead Engineer with a strong electrical or mechanical engineering background to join our dynamic team and drive operational excellence. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small team of engineers and technicians for efficient daily operations.
- Plan and execute preventive and reactive maintenance across electrical or mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and upholding safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments on continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Background in either electrical or mechanical engineering (multi-skilled preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Flexibility to work a rota or on-call schedule as needed.
