Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.
As a Production Operative in the Wax Manufacturing department main duties will include:
- Checking and signing "first off" parts for wax injection operators so that production can commence.
- Inspecting wax patterns to verify accuracy to drawing and techniques.
- Removing flashing from the wax injection process.
- Patching or repairing waxes that the pre-casting team leader deems economical to repair.
- Delivering trays of completed work to the wax assembly department.
- Checking that previous operations have been accurately booked on the job card and system by the previous departments.
The ideal production operative will have:
- Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment.
- A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
- A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
- You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
- Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
Hours of Work
Monday-Thursday 06:00am-4.30pm and Friday 06:00am-2.30pm. 48 hours a week.
