Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.

As a Production Operative in the Wax Manufacturing department main duties will include:

  • Checking and signing "first off" parts for wax injection operators so that production can commence.
  • Inspecting wax patterns to verify accuracy to drawing and techniques.
  • Removing flashing from the wax injection process.
  • Patching or repairing waxes that the pre-casting team leader deems economical to repair.
  • Delivering trays of completed work to the wax assembly department.
  • Checking that previous operations have been accurately booked on the job card and system by the previous departments.

The ideal production operative will have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment.
  • A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
  • A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
  • You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
  • Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided

Hours of Work

Monday-Thursday 06:00am-4.30pm and Friday 06:00am-2.30pm. 48 hours a week.

Benefits include free on-site parking, 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays and pension.
