Goldhawk Associates are working with a construction firm in Rochester are on the lookout for a trusted Office and Accounts Manager to keep things running on a day to day basis. This is a varied role where you'll be the go-to for both accounts and office support perfect for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and making a real difference day to day.Duties:
  • Managing the day-to-day office admin (ordering supplies, calls, general organisation)
  • Ensuring certifications and insurances are up to date
  • H&S accreditations
  • Ordering stationary or anything needed for the office
  • Looking after invoicing, payments, and supplier statements
  • Chasing overdue payments and sorting any invoice queries
  • Handling CIS payments and making sure everything's HMRC-compliant
  • Supporting the team with travel bookings, document prep and ad-hoc bits
Experience Required:
  • Accounting experience – ideally in a small business or construction firm
  • Knowledge of CIS would be ideal
  • Happy to work in a small office environment and most important have banter!
  • Confident using Excel and Word
  • Organised, proactive, and happy working independently
