Phase Leader - Gillingham

Full-Time - MPS+TLR- September 2025 Start

Tradewind are recruiting for an experienced Primary Teacher to take on responsibility of a Phase Leader for KS2 a Primary School in Gillingham. This role is full-time and would be on a temp-to-perm basis. This is for a September start and experienced teachers looking to take the next step in their career are encouraged to apply!

The school is a 2-form entry primary school in Gillingham near the town centre. They are graded Good by Ofsted and have a wonderful culture of nurture and support both for the staff and students. The school has limited parking and is easier to access via public transport.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering the Primary Curriculum with responsibility for a Phase Leader
  • Responsibility for ensuring your cohort is supported and challenged appropriately with the work set.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK
  • Experience as a KS2 Teacher with time as a Year Lead or Phase Leader would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Track record of leading in areas of school improvement or curriculum and student outcomes would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
