Academics Rochester are working with a progressive Primary School in Rochester, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA / Unqualified Teacher to join them on a long term to permanent basis from September 2025 (possibly sooner for the right candidate).
The HLTA role will involve covering classes across Key Stage 2.
There will be the opportunity to teach the class as well as working with smaller groups of children, supporting them with the core subjects.
If you have a passion for teaching French, computing or music, this could definitely be a role for you.
The ideal HLTA applicant
- HLTA qualification
- Minimum of 6 months experience covering classes
- Positive can do attitude with lots of enthusiasm
- Be approachable, engaging and encouraging to the students
- Hold HLTA status
- Uphold the safeguarding of all students to the school's policy and to the highest standard required.
- Work well independently and as part of a team
