The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Qualified Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Gillingham area.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years teaching, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to early childhood development and providing strong foundations for pupils' lifelong learning journeys.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
* Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Support children's early language, social, emotional, and physical development
* Use observations and assessments to inform planning and track progress
* Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
* Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to implement the Early Years Framework effectively
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood pedagogy
* Experience teaching in an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception)
* Excellent communication, creativity, and behaviour-management skills
* Passion for supporting young children's development and wellbeing
* Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and early years best practice
