We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Medway. This position offers competitive pay and is available for immediate start. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging scientific curiosity.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons across various disciplines (biology, chemistry, physics) in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other science department staff to organize science fairs, club activities, and potentially field trips that enhance the learning experience.
- Stay updated with the latest scientific advancements and integrate new learning tools into the curriculum.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and current educational practices.
