Are you passionate about supporting young children in their early stages of learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and nurturing primary school community.

About the Role:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher to deliver high-quality education and care to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help create a stimulating and safe learning environment, assist with planning and delivering activities, and provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the learning and development of children aged 4–5 years
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging learning activities
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members

  • Experience in an early years or primary school setting (desirable)
