About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with the Class Teacher to support students on a 1:1 or small group basis. Classes are small (6-10 pupils), creating a nurturing environment focused on life skills and personalised learning.

You'll collaborate with SEN TAs, contribute to therapy sessions outlined in students' EHCPs and may occasionally assist with personal care.

  • Speech, Language & Communication Needs
  • Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties
  • Specific Learning Difficulties
  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs
  • Physical Disabilities

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or adults with SEN
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Location: Gillingham, Kent (ability to travel is a bonus)
  • Pay: 90-95 per day
