Your new roleAs a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient financial operations across transactional finance, credit control, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase ledger processes, ensuring accurate posting of invoices and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Oversee credit control, chasing outstanding debtors via Credit Hound software.
  • Perform AR facility reconciliations and regular bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Process cash receipts and ensure correct allocation of incoming payments.
  • Support procurement by raisingpurchase orders and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist in month-end processes, including fibre accruals and journal entries.
  • Compile and manage payroll-related timesheets and staff costs.
  • Process employee expenses inline with company policies.
  • Reconcile company credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering finance-related queries.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong financial and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with supplier or third-party financial management software.
  • Knowledge of Sage and/or Sage 200 preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster positive working relationships.
