Are you a qualified accountant looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for ensuring robust financial controls and supporting key reporting processes. This includes month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of statutory accounts. You'll also liaise with operational teams and respond to audit queries, helping maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end close activities
  • Prepare and review post month-end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and regulatory deadlines
  • Respond to external audit queries and ensure compliance with financial controls
  • Liaise with operational site teams to support financial reporting and performance
  • Adhere to and enhance robust financial control processes

About You

  • Fully qualified with a recognised accounting body and 1-2 years of post-qualification experience
  • Able to work to tight timescales while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Diligent and methodical, with a willingness to support ad hoc tasks
  • Strong working knowledge of core financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Confident in constructively challenging and supporting colleagues to drive improvement
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
