Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client based on the outskirts of Glasgow are looking to add a Financial Accountant to the current team. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global firm. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.Key duties of the role include:
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support statutory reporting requirements, including audit preparation and liaising with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and control account analysis.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Lead or support finance projects, including system enhancements and process improvements.
Experience required:
  • ICAS / ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant with 3 years PQE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work towards challenging deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
