Description
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Overseeing internal controls and auditing processes.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Analysing financial data and providing strategic recommendations.
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant regulatory bodies.
- Working closely with the financial team to optimise accounting processes and systems.
- Coordinating with the management to set financial objectives and strategies.
- Implementing and strengthening financial policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised work approach.
This role is mostly office based so candidates must be able to be on site in Glasgow 4 days a week
