Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Line manage two Assistant Management Accountants.
  • Responsibility for the completion month end, ensuring that all central management accounting processes, accounting and journals are completed on an accurate and timely basis.
  • Provide support to the preparation of Forecast and Budget Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
  • To prepare balance sheet reconciliations as required and ensure reconciling items are understood, actioned and resolved quickly.
  • Key contact for any internal audit reviews.
  • Assist in planning, executing and monitoring the progress of continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide support for business queries.
  • Entry of month end journals for reporting.
  • Assist in the documentation of key processes within Finance.
  • Assist in ensuring that internal and external control recommendations are actioned in a timely manner and that internal controls are appropriately actioned in accordance with the CAD (Controls Assessment Document).
  • Prepare reports for the Management team of Finance.
  • All other duties or tasks as requested by your line manager.

Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

  • A clear project and process improvement orientation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail
  • CIMA, ACCA or ICAS qualified
