Description
The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:
- Line manage two Assistant Management Accountants.
- Responsibility for the completion month end, ensuring that all central management accounting processes, accounting and journals are completed on an accurate and timely basis.
- Provide support to the preparation of Forecast and Budget Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
- To prepare balance sheet reconciliations as required and ensure reconciling items are understood, actioned and resolved quickly.
- Key contact for any internal audit reviews.
- Assist in planning, executing and monitoring the progress of continuous improvement projects.
- Provide support for business queries.
- Entry of month end journals for reporting.
- Assist in the documentation of key processes within Finance.
- Assist in ensuring that internal and external control recommendations are actioned in a timely manner and that internal controls are appropriately actioned in accordance with the CAD (Controls Assessment Document).
- Prepare reports for the Management team of Finance.
- All other duties or tasks as requested by your line manager.

- Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail
- CIMA, ACCA or ICAS qualified
