Meraki Talent has an outstanding new opportunity to recruit a Management Accountant for our client a hugely successful UK business based in Glasgow. This is an exciting time to join the organisation, as they are currently experiencing forecasted growth and are launching a number of key projects and initiatives.Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will collate, prepare and produce key management accounting and reporting information, with opportunity to analyse key financial data for future decision making purposes. Key duties of the role include:

  • Prepare month-end processes for collation to the management accounts pack
  • Execute financial control activity
  • Balance sheet and bank reconciliations, including inter-company accounts
  • Assist in the production of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Variance analysis with commentary
  • Supporting the year end audit
  • Financial Data analysis, highlighting anomalies' and risks
  • Ad hoc reporting when required by finance team

Experience required:

  • Part or Newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Core background in the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Comfortable working to period end deadlines.
  • Able to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel user.
