A fast-growing and award-winning business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to support its expanding finance team. The Role
The Management Accountant will take ownership of key financial processes while supporting strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in financial reporting, controls, and process development. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to contribute directly to the company’s next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end preparation including journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Production of management accounts and financial analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations and variance reporting
- Supporting VAT returns and compliance activity
- Involvement in transactional finance, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Assisting with stock and costing processes (desirable)
- Supporting finance system enhancements, including a planned ERP rollout
Candidate Profile:
- Part-qualified or finalist (ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in a similar role within an SME or product-based environment
- Strong analytical and systems skills (Sage experience advantageous)
- Commercially aware and comfortable with hands-on responsibilities
- Proactive, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced setting
- Previous exposure to stock or manufacturing accounting is a bonus
