The ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this role is to build relationships with our clients customers and to ensure prompt payments are made to account. This role will involve contacting international contacts by telephone and email.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;You will be responsible for both income security as well as administering the sales ledger.Liaise and build strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices are made.Identify and resolve queries by liaising with internal colleagues across the organisation and communicating outcomes.Reconciliation of sales ledger and ensure allocations of money received ties together.Frequent financial reporting on the sales ledger/outstanding debt to management.Review collections process with a view to making the process more streamlined and efficient.
The RequirementsWe are seeking a highly experienced credit controller who is proactive in their approach to collecting outstanding balances. Problem solving and analytical skills are essential to be considered for this position as are exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal form. This is a busy role with support from your finance colleagues as well as operational stakeholders. The ability to build long lasting relationships is a key requirement.
Our client does not hold a license to offer study support so will only consider applicants who are able to work unrestricted within the UK and who are based in the immediate vicinity.
