We're currently looking for a Trainee Estimator to join their team and be mentored directly by a highly experienced Estimating Director.
The Opportunity
As a Trainee Estimator, you'll be given full training and hands-on exposure to the full tendering and pre-construction process.
You will working alongside a knowledgeable and close-knit team & learn how to analyse drawings and specs, liaise with subcontractors, and help build competitive cost plans.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders for a range of construction projects
• Review and interpret drawings, technical documents, and specifications
• Contact suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotes
• Learn and apply industry-standard estimating software and techniques
What We're Looking For
• Some exposure to the construction industry e.g., Quantity Surveying, design, estimating, or site-based roles within fit out or construction
• Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in estimating
• Confident with numbers and data
• Great attention to detail and organisation
