The Finance Assistant will support the Accounting & Finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions efficiently. This temporary role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and an interest in the industrial/manufacturing sector.

Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 8.15am - 4.30pm, 8.15am - 3.15pm on a Friday
Description
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately and on time.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as required.
- Prepare the payroll for the bureau.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Respond to internal and external financial queries professionally.
- Contribute to process improvements within the Accounting & Finance department.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes including payroll.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- An ability to work accurately and maintain attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector (preferred but not required).
Job Offer
- An hourly rate of approximately 13.50 to 15.00, depending on experience.

- Due to location, a car would be preferable but the client is based only a 20 mins train journey from Central station.
