- Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and tax returns for a portfolio of clients
- Assist senior accountants with audits and financial analysis
- Support with VAT returns, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare corporation tax computations and liaise with HMRC as required
- Provide timely responses to client queries and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and internal quality standards
- Previous Accounts Assistant experience, ideally in practice.
- Proven ability to prepare management accounts independently
- Strong understanding of UK accounting principles and tax legislation
- Confident using a range of accounting and spreadsheet tools
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
- Experience in statement confirmation and payroll is advantageous
