Production Operative Responsibilities: On the job training
  • Operate manual chemical plating lines to apply a range of coatings including Zinc, Zinc-Nickel, Electroless Nickel, Gold, and Silver, in accordance with production requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain chemical bath integrity, performing regular analysis and making precise chemical additions as necessary.
  • Conduct X-ray thickness testing to verify coating consistency and compliance with specification standards.
  • Accurately complete job cards, documenting all processes, materials used, and parameters followed for traceability and quality assurance.
Production Operative Requirements:
  • Educated to standard grade/secondary school level, with a sound understanding of practical working environments.
  • Good manual dexterity, with demonstrable experience in hands-on or detail-focused tasks.
  • Experience working to high quality standards on precision-engineered components is desirable.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Previous plating or surface treatment experience is advantageous, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
