Associate Structural Engineer

Are you a proven leader in structural engineering, ready to step into a key strategic role? Our client, a highly regarded consulting engineer, is looking to appoint an Associate Director to join their established engineering team.

We are also open to structural engineers who are ready to step up into an Associate Director role. If you are interested in opportunities at either the Associate Engineer or Associate Director level, please get in touch with us.

The Role

  • Lead and manage a variety of structural engineering projects across sectors including Industrial, Refurbishment, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, and more
  • Ensuring design quality, innovation, and compliance
  • Oversee project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and performance
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to team development and succession planning
  • Collaborate with directors on business strategy, client development, and identifying new opportunities

What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE/CEng)
  • 8+ years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
  • Be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, and possess practical experience in working with a wide range of building structure projects
  • Strong leadership, project management, and client-facing skills
  • Commercial awareness and a desire to contribute to business growth
