Quality Engineer - Assurance Department
Location: East Kilbride, Scotland (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £50,000 Per Annum plus benefits

A leading engineering and process solutions company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join its Assurance Department. If you're passionate about quality, process improvement, and working hands-on across complex projects, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Plans for tenders and active projects.
  • Conduct a range of on-site and off-site inspections, including dimensional checks, hydro-testing, and factory acceptance testing.
  • Perform internal audits in line with ISO 9001 standards and support supplier assessments.
  • Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and facilitate corrective action processes.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

What We're Looking For

  • HNC in Engineering (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Practical experience in quality control and assurance, especially in fabrication, welding, NDT, and testing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 auditing and compliance standards.
  • Experience creating and reviewing ITPs and supplier documentation.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips.
