Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for Senior Engineer Design Assurance to add to their talented, hardworking team in Scotstoun, Glasgow (full time onsite) on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rates:

43.04 per hour inside / umbrella

The role:

* Managing the activities which underwrite the design assurance strategy, design resilience and protect the integrity of the design
* Provide engineering expertise across any part of the engineering lifecycle, and the general tasks that may arise from this.
* Provide dedicated support to users of the Zonal Review (ZX) and Compartment Plan Approval (CPA) Processes
* Perform Audits on ZX/CPA deliverables

Skills:

* Demonstrably achieved or working towards an appropriate level of professional certification with a relevant professional body
* A degree in a relevant subject e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or other equivalent qualification or equivalent experience
* A good understanding of the engineering lifecycle
