• Working closely with the commercial, pre-construction, and project delivery teams.

• Learning how to produce accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders.

• Gaining exposure to the full bid process, from take-offs and pricing to client submission.

• Building an understanding of subcontractor and supplier relationships.

• Developing your skills with the guidance of experienced estimators and senior management.

• Ideally, someone with a background in architecture, design, or construction (e.g. an Architectural Technician looking for a career change).

• Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.

• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in estimating and commercial management.

• A structured training programme with ongoing mentorship.
