We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Freedom Boat Club Sales Specialist in Glasgow. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our exclusive membership-based boating program to individuals and businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new leads, conduct sales presentations, and convert prospects into satisfied club members. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, sales proficiency, and a passion for boating.

Responsibilities:

1. Generate Sales Leads:

  • Proactively identify and target potential customers, including individuals, families, and businesses, who have an interest in boating and water activities.
  • Utilise various strategies, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research, to build and maintain a strong pool of prospects.
  • Attend industry events, boat shows, and relevant community functions to capture leads and expand the clubs exposure.

2. Conduct Sales Presentations:

  • Articulate the benefits and key features of Freedom Boat Club membership in a persuasive and engaging manner.
  • Deliver sales presentations both in-person and virtually to potential customers, showcasing the value of joining the club and the unique advantages it offers.
  • Address questions, overcome objections, and establish a strong rapport with prospects, building trust and confidence in our services.

3. Customise Membership Offerings:

  • Understand the needs and preferences of prospects, and tailor membership options to suit their individual requirements.
  • Create personalised membership packages, including boat types, usage plans, and pricing structures, to maximise customer satisfaction and membership conversion rates.

4. Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Effectively manage and track all leads and sales activities using CRM software, ensuring accurate and updated information.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, maintaining consistent communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
  • Facilitate smooth and efficient onboarding processes for new members, coordinating with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition.

5. Relationship Building:

  • Nurture relationships with existing club members, providing ongoing support and acting as their primary point of contact for any queries or concerns.
  • Foster strong networks within the boating community, attending local events, yacht clubs, and marinas to increase brand awareness and attract potential partners.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in corporate sales or customer-facing roles, preferably in the boating or leisure industry.
