We are currently looking for a Production Operator to work for an established engineering company, working in the Glasgow area. The Production Operator will be responsible for monitoring production tanks and complete job cards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual chemical plating lines for coatings such as Zinc, Zinc-nickel, Electroless nickel, Gold, and Silver
- Monitor production tanks and adjust chemical additions based on analysis
- Conduct X-ray testing to measure coating thickness
- Complete job cards with detailed process information
Experience & Skills:
- A minimum of standard grade education or equivalent qualifications
- Strong manual dexterity with a keen eye for detail
- Experience working to high-quality standards in precision manufacturing is a plus, though not essential
- Awareness of health and safety protocols within the workplace
- Previous plating experience is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided
- Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Supportive of colleagues and willing to assist other departments as needed
- Professional and courteous when interacting with customers
- Respectful and considerate towards all team members
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Able to solve problems effectively within the scope of the team
- Maintains a positive attitude and is resilient in overcoming challenges
