Skilled Production Operative - Skilled Timber Assembly Operative - Level 3 Back Shift

Location: Glasgow
Pay: 13.65 per hour, rising to 14.75 after training plus 10.5% Shift Allowance
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 - 22:00, Friday 14:00 - 18:00

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to build something great? We're hiring Skilled Factory Operatives to join a busy and dynamic factory team in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role suited to those with strong practical ability, good attention to detail, an ability to follow work instruction in line with technical drawings and the drive to work towards high quality and output targets.

What you'll be doing:
As a Skilled Production Operative, you'll be responsible for building and assembling timber and panel systems to support projects across Scotland. Your daily duties will include:

  • Following step-by-step process guides to build wall panels, install windows and doors in a fast- moving manufacturing environment
  • Interpretation of technical drawings to ensure build completed to required quality standards
  • Using a range of heavy hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Carrying out manual handling of timber and materials, always ensuring safe handling
  • Working to quality and output targets
  • Keeping your work area tidy, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety procedures
  • Collaborating with your team and line leader to support efficient workflows and continuous improvement
