Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Change:Lead business analysis activities that govern the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with our organisation's goals.
  • Engage with Stakeholders:Work closely with stakeholders at all levels to communicate progress, manage expectations, and address any challenges that arise.
  • Support Project Managers:Assist in project management tasks, including the creation of realistic project plans and monitoring of costs and timelines.
  • Conduct Workshops:Manage and facilitate workshops to gather requirements and ensure that the needs of all parties are met.
  • Document Requirements:Collect, evaluate, and document project requirements, ensuring they are within scope and approved by Subject Matter Experts.
  • Champion Governance:Advocate for adherence to project governance processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance delivery efficiency.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:Proven track record in business analysis across multiple projects in the utilities sector or similar industries.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong ability to capture, document, and evaluate business requirements effectively.
  • Project Lifecycle Knowledge:Extensive understanding of project lifecycle processes and change management concepts.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem Solver:Proactive in identifying risks and issues, and skilled in devising contingency plans.
  • Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment, alongside permanent and contract resources.

Qualifications:

  • BCS (Formerly ISEB) Business Analysis Diploma/Certificates is essential.
  • Beneficial knowledge of Network and Information Systems Regulations and the energy generation sector.
