Your new company

A leading UK law firm is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to support its dynamic Clean Energy sector group. Based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office, you'll work closely with the Senior BD Manager - Clean Energy to deliver strategic and practical business development initiatives that help shape the future of clean energy law.

Key duties and responsibilities

As a key member of the Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team, you will:

  • Support the planning and execution of sector-wide BD and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners and lawyers to enhance the firm's market presence.
  • Lead or support responses to RFPs and other proposals.
  • Develop compelling marketing materials and website content.
  • Create and manage engaging content for newsletters, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate impactful client-facing and internal events.
  • Maintain and analyse data in the CRM system to inform strategy.
  • Build strong internal relationships to drive BD success.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Experienced (minimum 2 years) in a business development or marketing role.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
  • An excellent communicator with strong attention to detail.

  • Salary circa £40k
  • Hybrid approach with 50% in office, Wednesday is the hub day
  • Lunch is one hour and 15 minutes.
  • 26+ 6 public with additional days with service at 5, 10 and 15 years service

  • Pension Match up to 5 %, and can salary sacrifice on top
  • Firm-wide bonus in July
  • Exceptional bonus in October with pay review at the same time
  • Death in service 4 times base
