Acorn by Synergie is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a leading national client based at their Glasgow hub. This is a great opportunity for reliable and experienced drivers looking for ongoing weekday work with excellent pay and the potential to go permanent.
Job Details:- Hours: 7am - 5pm (Monday to Friday).
- Shifts: Weekdays only - No weekends!
- Contract Type: Temporary-to-permanent.
- Start Date: Immediate starts available.
- Location: Glasgow and surrounding areas.
- PAYE: £14 - £22 per hour.
- Umbrella PAYE: £16.50 - £25 per hour.
- Minimum 8 hours pay per day guaranteed.
As an HGV Class 2 Day Driver, you'll complete 8-12 multi-drop deliveries around Glasgow and surrounding areas. Shifts average 9-11 hours per day, and you'll be driving a modern fleet of vehicles in a well-supported logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with driving regulations.
- Complete multiple drops per shift, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
- Represent the company professionally with clients and customers.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous multi-drop experience preferred.
- Reliable and safety-conscious with good route knowledge.
- Weekly pay with online payslips.
- 28 days paid annual leave (pro-rata for PAYE).
