The Account Manager will be responsible for working with an assigned group of dealers to deliver successful retail sales against manufacturer targets and support the dealers in achieving commercial objectives and KPI’s.This is a challenging opportunity with an exciting manufacturer where you will take full ownership of your area to deliver a first class customer experience.Key Responsibilities

  • Achievement of recognised objectives- Sales Volume, Accessories, Retention, Customer Satisfaction Index.
  • Implementation of Honda Sales Target Methodology .
  • Retailer Sales Activity performance and development
  • Retailer Marketing- Understanding activity, deployment and evaluation to the Retailer quarterly marketing plans.

ProfileWe are looking for a driven and passionate Automotive professional with a solid understanding of the dealer sales environment. Either as an Area Sales Manager for a manufacturer or a multisite Sales Manager for a dealer group. Strong negotiation and communication skills with experience in a commercial and target driven role would be ideal to be successful.BenefitsThis role will give an ambitious Automotive professional a fantastic opportunity with a leading brand where you will have full responsibility for the success of your retail network with great scope for development. The area is Scotland, Lancaster, Blackpool and Lancashire - only candidates located on the Scottish Border /Newcastle or Lancaster need apply as the role is field based. There will be a requirement to travel so driving licence is required and flexibility for overnight stays as required. Car and mobile phone provided. This role is initially for 6 months with the potential to extend and is inside IR35- £250 per day ( £65K annual salary equivalent)
