This position involves the day-to-day management of a dynamic and successful sales area, supporting a diverse customer base that includes OEMs, end users, and distributors. The role offers a balance of independent working and team collaboration, and includes:
- Managing and developing a busy and established sales area.
- Looking after a varied customer portfolio including OEMs, end users, and resellers.
- Driving sales growth by proactively identifying opportunities with both new and existing clients.
- Primarily focusing on mechanical geared motors, with additional involvement in sales and support for services, inverters, servos, and industrial gears.
- Working independently from home while effectively managing your own schedule.
- Collaborating closely with internal and external colleagues to ensure excellent customer service and support.
- Proven experience in the power transmission or service industry is highly desirable.
- A strong technical background with sound knowledge of power, speed, and torque is essential.
- Ideally, candidates will have a formal qualification such as an ONC or HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong customer relationship skills and a proactive approach to selling.
- A good understanding of the sales process and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- While familiarity with specific product ranges is beneficial, full training will be provided if required.
