This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering geologist or geotechnical engineer looking for a new position in the ground investigation industry. The specialist contractors, based just outside of Glasgow are seeking an ambitious engineer join the team on a range of positions across the Central Belt. You'll be provided with industry leading training, varied work and excellent opportunities to apply your skills to.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

The Geotechnical Engineer will be:

  • Overseeing ground investigations and piling work.
  • Borehole logging and coring.
  • Soil sampling.
  • Factual report writing.
  • Complying with health and safety practices.
  • Liaising with team members.

To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer position you should therefore have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, geography or civil engineering. Prior experience in geotechnical engineering, geo-environmental engineering or engineering geology is essential. You must also live commutable to Glasgow, hold a full UK driving licence (travelling to site will be essential) and have a full right to work in the UK.
