This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing marine and coastal engineering business, supporting the development of a dedicated civil engineering team.
You’ll work closely with an experienced Senior Engineer on a range of marine, reservoir, and water-related civil projects across Scotland and beyond. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing — supporting tendering, procurement, and project delivery activities while gaining valuable exposure to the full project lifecycle.
What You’ll Be Doing-
Assist with tender preparation, including obtaining quotes and pricing for materials, plant, and subcontractors

Support the Senior Engineer with ordering materials, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating project logistics

Help manage documentation, schedules, and project records

Gain experience across both office-based and on-site environments

Contribute to the smooth delivery of marine and coastal infrastructure projects (such as piers, jetties, slipways, and sea defences) across Scotland, the UK, and internationally
You’ll be a graduate or early-career civil engineer (around 1–3 years post-graduation) with enthusiasm to learn, take initiative, and grow in a supportive team.
You should have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Some experience or strong interest in marine, reservoir, or water-related civil engineering

A practical, delivery-focused mindset — someone who enjoys solving real-world challenges

Good communication and organisational skills

A respectful, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues
