About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join a growing marine and coastal engineering business, supporting the development of a dedicated civil engineering team.

You’ll work closely with an experienced Senior Engineer on a range of marine, reservoir, and water-related civil projects across Scotland and beyond. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing — supporting tendering, procurement, and project delivery activities while gaining valuable exposure to the full project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assist with tender preparation, including obtaining quotes and pricing for materials, plant, and subcontractors

  • Support the Senior Engineer with ordering materials, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating project logistics

  • Help manage documentation, schedules, and project records

  • Gain experience across both office-based and on-site environments

  • Contribute to the smooth delivery of marine and coastal infrastructure projects (such as piers, jetties, slipways, and sea defences) across Scotland, the UK, and internationally

About You

You’ll be a graduate or early-career civil engineer (around 1–3 years post-graduation) with enthusiasm to learn, take initiative, and grow in a supportive team.

You should have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

  • Some experience or strong interest in marine, reservoir, or water-related civil engineering

  • A practical, delivery-focused mindset — someone who enjoys solving real-world challenges

  • Good communication and organisational skills

  • A respectful, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues

What’s on Offer
  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

  • Pension

  • Bonus potential

  • Excellent development opportunities working alongside an experienced project professional

If you’re a hands-on graduate engineer who’s ready to take the next step and gain real project experience in the marine and coastal engineering sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career.
