Company: We have partnered with a leading M&E contractor operating across Scotland. With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, they specialise in providing innovative mechanical and electrical solutions to a diverse range of clients.

Role Overview: They are seeking dynamic and experienced Mechanical Project Managers to join their team in Edinburgh. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing various mechanical projects across Scotland. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mechanical projects from conception through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify any issues or deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the construction or M&E industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field would be advantageous.
