First People Solutions is working with a highly successful consulting engineer who are seeking a Civil Engineer to join their management team and drive continued growth across the UK.
With a technical team of 200+ professionals nationwide, this consultancy brings together planners, designers and engineers to deliver solutions across sectors including Energy, Petrochemicals, Manufacturing and Distilling.
What You'll Do
As Principal Civil Engineer, you'll take ownership of:
- Leading bids, tenders and client-facing engagements
- Inspiring and mentoring team members
- Managing project delivery, ensuring technical excellence, commercial viability and risk management
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered or working towards
- 5-10 years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
- Proven technical expertise in civil engineering, particularly in drainage, linear infrastructure and pavement engineering
- Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
- A full UK driving licence and valid passport for occasional travel (occasional travel in the UK and overseas depending on project requirements is required)
