Our client, a highly respected and long-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, is seeking a Chartered Engineer to join their growing civil and structural division. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career with a forward-thinking, people-focused company.

The Role:
You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of bridge and civil structures projects, from concept through to completion. Working on both public and private sector schemes, you will be responsible for:

* Leading and managing bridge design and assessment projects.
* Providing technical expertise on steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures.
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality project delivery.
* Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes, and health & safety regulations.

About You:
* Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) with proven bridge engineering experience.
* Strong technical background in design and assessment of bridges and civil structures.
* Proficiency with relevant software (e.g., LUSAS, MIDAS, AutoCAD, etc.).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
