About the Role:
As a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer, you'll be instrumental in delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities.
- Interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.
- Set out and survey works on-site with precision.
- Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
- Ensure high standards of site health, safety, environment, and quality.
- Maintain accurate site records, including a daily diary.
- Coordinate site logistics and material orders.
- Assist in site planning and produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Inspection Test Plans.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to resolve on-site issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven setting out and surveying experience within civil engineering projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing dimensional control and on-site quality checks.
- Previous involvement in supervising subcontractors and site operations.
- Capable of maintaining detailed progress and QA/QC documentation.
- Experience with site planning tools and documentation (ITPs, WPPs, etc.).
