Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst - East Kilbride
Salary: 30,000 - 37,000 (experience dependent)

Company Overview
My client is a trusted UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy with decades of industry experience, delivering high-quality surveying and analytical services across Scotland. They are known for their professionalism, technical expertise and commitment to developing their team through continuous training and long-term career growth.

Role Overview
They are now seeking a skilled Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join their East Kilbride team. This dual-role position involves both site-based asbestos surveying and air monitoring duties across domestic, commercial and industrial sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys (HSG264 compliant)

  • Perform air monitoring, 4-stage clearances, leak testing, smoke testing and reassurance sampling

  • Produce accurate, detailed survey and analytical reports

  • Communicate professionally with clients, contractors and internal colleagues

  • Ensure all work meets current legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS procedures

  • Maintain high technical standards and contribute to ongoing team development

Requirements:

  • BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or equivalent qualifications)

  • Proven experience in both asbestos surveying and analytical work within a UKAS-accredited organisation

  • Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence
