Rate of Pay - £25,000 Per annum –

There are remuneration benefits associated with the role if certain performance and targets are achieved.*

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate powder coating equipment and machinery according to specifications.
• Prepare metal surfaces for coating by cleaning, sandblasting, or using other methods to ensure proper bonding.
• Mix powder coatings accurately, selecting the right colours and finishes as per order specifications.
• Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently, ensuring complete coverage of the surfaces.
• Conduct quality checks during and after the coating process to ensure high standards are met and maintained.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in troubleshooting and performing maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in powder coating or a related field preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physically fit, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new methods and techniques.
