Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Machinist to their team on a permanent basis.
You will receive a great benefit package including Health Insurance, Life Assurance, Cycle to Work and Discount Hub and over-time rates at 1.5x and 2x.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm, Friday 7am - 1pm
Hourly Rate: 17 - 20p/hr
Daily Duties -
- Operate turning machines, lathes and 5 axis machines
- Follow written procedures and drawings to produce a high-quality product
- Ensure all work is carried out accurately and to production deadlines
- Manufacturing wide range of engineering components with ferrous and non-ferrous materials
Candidate Requirements -
- Engineering apprenticeship within a machine shop environment
- Previous experience with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
- Ability to machine products accurately to tight tolerances
- Driving Licence
