Rate: 19.84/hr
Hours: 37 hours per week, plus overtime when required

Our client is a specialist engineering company based in the Glasgow area, supplying high-quality hydraulic components to sectors including Oil & Gas, Subsea, Defence, and Industrial markets. They are known for precision manufacturing and a collaborative working environment.

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Manual Turner to work on a range of conventional lathes, producing components for hydraulic systems. The successful candidate will work from technical drawings to produce parts to exact specifications. The role requires someone who can work independently, as well as part of a busy team in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Required Skills:

Completed time-served engineering apprenticeship

Ability to interpret technical drawings

Minimum of 5 years' workshop experience

Proven experience using conventional lathes

Ability to work under own initiative

Strong team working and communication skills

Desirable Skills:

Fitting experience

Experience in a factory environment

Forklift licence

CNC, machining centre, and milling experience
